The Stereo Total are a frank-German duo of electronic music,

active especially in the Synthpop but with flashes of ambient, dance and folklore.

The members are Françoise Cactus (to the registry Françoise Van Hove),

the Frenchwoman and Brezel Göring (Friedrich Ziegler) the German.

Among the principal caratteritiches of their music there is that to use many sounds sampled (as for instance the sound of a jail cell) as I break down to the voice.

Their songs are mainly written in French, but in their albums they are present also songs in German, Spanish, Japanese, Turkish and even Italian.
